Formentera’s PSOE issued a statement this morning following the party’s extraordinary executive to analyze the “current political situation, including the press conference given yesterday by President Cordoba, in which serious insinuations and accusationswere made about the previous government team.” In this sense, they have stated that the statements of the island president Llorenç Cordoba are a “smokescreen” to divert “attention from the important debate” which, as they understand, is “the future of the port“. Focusing on the Special Plan for the port of La Savina, they avoid referring to the irregularities in the contest under suspicion of the beach bars that includes its management. Therefore, the socialists have stated that “while we are witnessing this political inaction, the Special Plan for the port has been allowed to lapse. In this sense, they explained that “we are not talking about society, the debate on the island model, and the press conferences given by the Consell are to talk about the interests of the president. Cordoba’s accusations
