The Port Authority of the Balearic Islands (APB) will lift next December 1 the access barrier to the promenade of the Marina in the port of Ibiza, allowing the passage of road traffic. Thus, the APB maintains the agreement with the City Council of Vila to reinforce mobility and facilitate parking during the winter months, repeating the initiative that already gave very good results last year. Parking on the Paseo de la Marina will continue to be allowed 24 hours a day, with a limitation of two hours between eight in the morning and ten at night to encourage vehicle rotation. Drivers will have to place in a visible place in the car a piece of paper with the parking start time. The spaces reserved for loading and unloading are also maintained, with the aim of supporting commercial activity in the area. The Port Authority has remarked that the repetition of this initiative “responds to the good reception by citizens, neighbors and merchants, and reaffirms the collaboration between the APB and the City Council of Eivissa to facilitate mobility and offer more comfort during the winter months”.
