This Thursday, December 12, will be presented in the stadium of the Penya Esportiva Sant Jordi the book Trampantojo, notes of a footballer.
The work is the first published by former professional footballer Martín Monroy, of Uruguayan origin, who played in Ibiza in Sant Jordi and Sant Josep after an extensive tour of teams in his native country and others in Latin America. Monroy published Trampantojo last July and presented it in Montevideo first and in Es jardí, Sa Caleta, in August. “There was something about soccer that wasn’t enough for me. A place I wanted to get to and with soccer I couldn’t get there”, he explained in an interview with this media at that time, about the origins of his passion for writing (he also had a column in Periódico de Ibiza) and of this book. The presentation will take place at Kiko Serra at 8:30 p.m., with free admission.
