The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts a warm winter for Ibiza y Formenterawith highs of 15 degrees and lows that will not fall below 7 degrees. Although the possibility of snow is almost nonexistent, Sant Joan de Labritja stands out as the municipality with the highest probability of experiencing this exceptional phenomenon.

According to the latest report of the AEMET, the weather conditions forecast for this winter in Sant Joan have slight chances of snowfall, especially in the higher areas.
These probabilities, although minimal, depend on winter frontal situations that could generate precipitation in the form of snow in extreme cases. However, the general forecast suggests a mostly warm winter without significant snow events in the Pitiusas.
The weather in Ibiza for winter
Winter in Ibiza will be marked by average temperatures that will exceed 11 degrees, with highs of 15 degrees during the day and lows of around 7 degrees on the coldest nights. Rainfall will remain within the normal range, with values around 100 liters per square meter for the quarter. Last autumn already left a warm footprint on the island, with a 24% increase in tropical nights, when temperatures did not drop below 20 degrees. This pattern reinforces expectations of a mild winter, with mostly clear days and some sporadic rainfall that could reach 28 liters per square meter in December. In addition, the AEMET highlights that wind gusts could be a factor to take into account, especially in municipalities like Sant Joan, where in past autumns peaks of up to 78 km / h have been recorded.
