The Ibiza Town Hall has communicated the traffic and parking restrictions that will be applied next December 31 on the occasion of the traditional Pujada a la Catedral 2024, a sporting event that each year brings together numerous participants and spectators. These measures have been designed to ensure the safety and proper development of the event, affecting several of the busiest streets and squares of the city.
Traffic restrictions during the event
Between 16:00 and 18:00 hours, circulation and parking will be prohibited at several points in the center of Ibiza. The affected roads include Avenida de Bartomeu Ramon i Tur, carrer del Comte de Rosselló, carrer d’Anníbal and carrer d’Antoni Palau, as well as plaça de Vila and plaça dels Desemparats.
Also affected will be streets such as sa Carrossa, carrer del General Balansat, carrer de Pere Tur, carrer de Joan Roman and carrer Major up to plaça de la Catedral. Additionally, in the Plaça de la Catedral no parking of vehicles will be allowed from 08:00 to 18:00 hours. This space will be one of the epicenters of the activity, both for runners and for the public that will attend to enjoy this emblematic competition.

The consistory has recommended drivers to plan their journeys in advance and opt for alternative routes to avoid setbacks. It has also thanked the understanding and cooperation of the neighbors to ensure the success of the event.
