A surprising fact has shaken the community of Sant Carles: a social network user, identified as Daniele Freddio, has reported the theft of his container-house, a portable home that disappeared last December 7 in the vicinity of the main road, near the local school.
An unusual case
According to the victim’s account, published on his social networks, the container was stolen and possibly sold to a third party, who could be unaware that the house is owned by Freddio.
The owner assures that he has the invoice certifying his ownership and has appealed to the community to locate the structure.
“I attach photos and ask my contacts to share this message so that the person who bought it realizes that he has been scammed. The theft has already been reported to the Guardia Civil,” Freddio wrote in his post, which quickly went viral among users on the island.
Ongoing research
The Guardia Civil is already aware of the case and has initiated an investigation to clarify how this peculiar theft occurred and, above all, to find the whereabouts of the container. For now, no official progress has been reported, but the massive dissemination of the complaint could be key to identify the buyer or the person responsible for the theft.
An appeal for solidarity
Freddio thanked the support received by the Ibizan community, stressing the hope that his message will reach those who can provide clues to the whereabouts of the house. “Much love and hope,” he concluded in his message, appealing to the solidarity of the island’s inhabitants.
