The IB3 works council and the general director of the Ens Públic de Radiotelevisió de Balears, Josep Codony, signed this Thursday in Palma the agreement of professional classification that will allow to advance in the integration of the staff of the broadcaster, a process that remains open after almost three years of internalization.
The committee stressed in a communiqué that the agreement, “although it comes late”, is a decisive step to organize the functions of the entire workforce. The labor representatives recalled that the signing of the agreement comes after almost three years of internalization.
Thanks to the staff for a “very important fight”.
The committee thanked the “very important struggle” of the personnel and the “great patience” shown during a process that they describe as “very long”.“Without all of them and their perseverance, the agreement would not have been reached,” said the workers’ representatives in a note.
Despite the progress made, the representatives announced that they will continue to demand that the integration be a reality “the sooner the better”, recalling that “very urgent” issues such as the complete harmonization of the workforce or the approval of the new Job List (RLT) still need to be resolved .
The committee is confident that the process will be concluded “in the shortest possible time” so that IB3 workers can see “all their rights recognized”.
