Simebal regrets any possible incident that could harm patients and, in turn, has called for participation and social support, as well as possible dissemination, in order to move towards a regulatory framework that dignifies healthcare work and guarantees adequate conditions for professional practice.
Minimum services
In this context, the Health Service has established the minimum services agreed in relation to the statewide strike affecting medical and medical staff of the A1 group of the National Health System called for December 9, 10, 11 and 12.
The strike begins at 00:00 hours on Tuesday, the 9th, and ends at 23:59 hours on Friday, the 12th. In those centers where there are several shifts, the strike will begin on the first shift on the 9th and will end once the last shift has finished, even if it continues after 11:59 p.m. on Friday.
As for the minimum services in hospital care, these are those foreseen to attend to health care on public holidays.
In the medical specialties that have inpatients and in the central services that must attend hospitalized patients, one specialist per medical service, in the morning shift, will be increased with respect to those foreseen for holidays.
In hospital services considered urgent or critical activity, 100% of the assistance will be provided to guarantee the programmed activity and the continuity of ongoing treatments.
This is the case of services that provide vital care: oncology and medical and radiotherapy hematology, oncological surgery, emergencies, dialysis, day hospital and hospital pharmacy.
In primary care, regarding the morning shift, between days 9 and 12, from 08.00 to 15.00 hours, there will be one physician and one pediatrician per health center. In those centers with more than 20,500 health cards there should be two physicians and a pediatrician. In the shift from 15.00 to 20.00 hours, there will be one physician and one pediatrician (if available).
As for the on-call shift (PAC), from 3:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m., from December 9 to 12, all physicians and pediatricians who provide on-call care must be on duty.
In emergency and urgency services (SUAP and 061), given their nature and the services they provide, coverage will be 100% in all health services.
As for the MIR personnel, given the specific characteristics of their work relationship, minimum services are not established.
