Kicked, threatened and vandalized at a gas station in Ibiza: arrested for damaging a valuable motorcycle

The man, in a state of drunkenness, threw the motorcycle to the ground for no apparent reason and threatened to kill its owner when he asked for explanations, which forced the Civil Guard to intervene.

The Civil Guard has arrested a 48-year-old man for allegedly causing damage to a motorcycle parked at a gas stationin Sant Antoni de Portmany and threatening to kill its owner.

As reported by the Armed Institute in a statement, the events occurred last Sunday, when a patrol carrying out public safety work was required at a local gas station after a violent incident. Apparently, the motorcycle was parked while its owner was refueling when, for no apparent reason, thedetainee kicked him, causing him to fall to the ground.

When asked to explain what had happened, the owner of the motorcycle was threatened with death by the aggressor. On the arrival of the agents, the man was lying on the ground in an obvious state of intoxication, responding incoherently and insulting the civil guards.

After being identified, the agents proceeded to arrest him as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of damage, with a value of more than 2,500 euros. The detainee is of Roma origin and was taken to court to clarify the facts.
