A motorcyclist has died after suffering a fall with his motorcycle this Friday on a road in the municipality of Sant Josep, as confirmed by SAMU 061. The accident occurred at around 11.48 hours and forced to activate the severe polytrauma code due to the severity of the injuries sustained by the victim.
The event took place on a road in the municipality of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia, where the driver lost control of the vehicle and suffered a casual fall, without, according to the information provided by the emergency services, any other vehicle being involved. The causes of the accident are under investigation.
Severe polytrauma
Two Advanced Life Support ambulances (SVA) and one Basic Life Support (SVB) of 061 were sent to the scene. The medical teams activated the severe polytrauma code and performed stabilization maneuvers at the point of the accident, given the severity of the motorcyclist’s condition.
The injured man was taken in very serious condition to the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Clinic. There he finally died hours later despite the efforts of medical personnel.
