This Tuesday, the Government published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB) the “Final approval of the general budget for the year 2025 of the Consell Insular de Formentera”, a simple administrative step to ensure the principles of transparency and access to information.
However, a surrealistic blunder has attracted attention and generated some curiosity; the budgets of Sa Unió approved in plenary and published in the BOIB this morning bore the signature of former president Llorenç Córdoba.
This is reflected in the PDF format document published on the site of the regional Official Gazette. At the end of the five pages of the “Summary of the budget referred to for fiscal year 2025”, in which income and expenses are detailed, it bears the electronic signature of Cordoba and the date February 14, 2025.
A few hours later, the error was corrected and the file was uploaded again with the correct signature of the current president Óscar Portas, who took office last December 27 after the motion of censure led by Gent per Formentera and the Socialist Party, which led to the return of Sa Unió to a minority government.
