The final registration period to participate in the XVI Formentera Half Marathon and the 8KM Sant Ferran-La Savina, will open this Tuesday, the organization reported Monday in a statement. In the registration process, which will last until December 23, can participate all pre-registered in the Half Marathon, with the numbers 631 to 2.630 and pre-registered in the 8K race, with the numbers 10.565-10-729 and 8.001-8.836. After the pre-registration closed with 7,965 athletes between the two races, once again this year it has been necessary to resort to a lottery, given that the authorized number of places exceeded 3,000: 2,000 for the Half Marathon and 1,000 for the 8K. Now, the participants chosen in the draw will have to confirm their registration through the official website(http://www.marato-formentera.com/). In the event that there are winners who do not confirm their registration before the 23rd and there are still places available, a single repechage will be opened from December 30 until all places are taken.
