The number 70,048 has been graced this Sunday with the second prize of the Extraordinary Draw of the Christmas Lottery, endowed with 1,250,000 euros to the series, which means 125,000 euros per tenth.
The prize was sung at 09.21 hours, when the number appeared on the sixth wire of the first table, one of the most anticipated moments of the draw that each year distributes millions of euros throughout the country.
As reported by Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, the payment of the prizes corresponding to the Extraordinary Christmas Draw 2025 will begin from the afternoon of December 22, once the verifications of the numbers drawn and the usual computer processes are completed. The deadline to collect the prizes will be extended until March 23, 2026.
In the case of prizes of less than 2,000 euros per ticket, these can be collected exclusively at any of the 10,869 points of sale of the Loterías commercial network, also from the afternoon of December 22. Payment can be made in cash or through Bizum, thus facilitating immediate payment to the lucky winners.
Prizes equal to or greater than 2,000 euros must be collected at the authorized financial institutions, which in this edition are BBVA and CaixaBank.
