A total of 41 immigrants have been rescued Thursday aboard boats that have reached Balearic waters, according to information provided by the Government Delegation.
Specifically, at 08.45 hours has proceeded to the interception of a total of 17 people of North African origin, in Playa de Mitgjorn, on the island of Formentera. The Guardia Civil of the Formentera Post, the Citizen Security Unit of the Command (USECIC) and the Local Police of Formentera have intervened.
Subsequently, at 12.30 p.m., a total of 24 people of North African origin were intercepted in Playa de s’Estanyol, on the island of Ibiza, where the Civil Guard also intervened.
