Agents of the National Police have arrested a woman in Ibiza as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of attempted murderafter seriously assaulting a young man during a brawl in the vicinity of a nightclub. According to the authorities, the facts occurred last Monday and forced the rapid intervention of the police and health due to the seriousness of the injuries suffered by the victim.

According to the first testimonies gathered at the scene, a woman was allegedly the perpetrator of the aggression. The officers located the alleged perpetrator shortly afterwards in the vicinity of the discotheque, where she was identified. The woman stated that she acted to defend her partner, with whom, apparently, the injured young man had had a previous dispute.
The investigation suggests that the aggression occurred in the context of a fight between two men, in which the detainee would have intervened using a glass bottle to cause the injuries. Given the seriousness of the injuries, the police proceeded to arrest her as the alleged perpetrator of attempted murder.
The Specialized and Violent Crime Unit (UDEV) of the National Police in Ibiza has taken charge of the investigation, which remains open in order to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and determine the corresponding criminal responsibilities.
