The city of Ibiza will light up its Christmas spirit this Saturday with an inauguration that promises to attract residents and visitors. The central event will take place in the
Inclusive party and family atmosphere in Vara de Rey
After the lighting and the opening show, at 7 pm, the tent of Vara de Rey will host the Ibiza Love Retro party, organized by ASPANADIF with the collaboration of the Consell Insular de Eivissa. This inclusive proposal, therefore, seeks to encourage the participation of all audiences and make visible the social work being done on the island. It also aims to consolidate as an accessible activity that reinforces coexistence during the holidays.
Later, from 8 pm, the band Bluesmafia Elèctrico will offer the first concert of the new Mercado de Restauración, a gastronomic and cultural space located next to the Christmas tree of Vara de Rey. Thus, the City Council aims to turn this point into a meeting place where residents and visitors can enjoy live music and culinary offerings throughout the Christmas period.
A Christmas that will travel through all neighborhoods
The Councillor for Festivities, Francisco Torres, stresses that Ibiza is once again becoming “the city of Christmas” with more than fifty concerts, family proposals and itinerant activities that will reach different neighborhoods. On the other hand, among the novelties are the new models of letters to Santa Claus and the Three Kings, designed with accessibility criteria so that all children can enjoy the magic of Christmas.
Finally, the program includes initiatives such as Santas Band on the Road, Christmas on Pedal, photocalls and creative workshops, designed to fill the streets with life and bring the celebration to every corner of Vila. In this way, the city reinforces its commitment to a diverse, participatory Christmas for all citizens.
