]]>La entrada Santa Eulària opens 2026 with a performing arts program for all audiences se publicó primero en La Voz De Ibiza.
]]>The programming is framed, for the most part, in the Platea program of the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM), in which Santa Eulària participates for the twelfth consecutive year, allowing the arrival of professional shows to the municipality. The cycle is completed with a proposal starring artists from Ibiza, reinforcing institutional support for local talent.
The first appointment will be on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 6 p.m., at the Centre Cultural de Jesús, with «Sigues Tortuga», by Xip Xap Teatre. The puppet theater show, recommended for ages 4 and up, lasts 50 minutes and is performed in Catalan. The play adapts the story «Sé tortuga», by Agustín Sánchez Aguilar, Edebé Children’s Literature Award 2023, and proposes a fable starring a rooster and five turtles that invites us to reflect on the importance of living calmly and practicing kindness.
The program will continue on Saturday, March 28, at 7 p.m., at the Palau de Congressos, with «SinSolo», by the Faltan 7 Company. It is a circus show for all audiences, recognized with the FETEN 2019 Award and the First Prize Circada Off 2018. Through comic situations and circus techniques such as vertical and acrobatic bicycle, the proposal raises a reflection on human relationships, group membership and the value of diversity and inclusion.
The third proposal will arrive on Sunday, April 19, also at 7 p.m. at the Palau de Congressos, with «Operetta», by Cor de Teatre. The a cappella opera, recommended for ages 6 and up, combines humor, rhythm and a careful staging to reinterpret, from the theatrical gag, emblematic fragments of the operatic repertoire. From an apparently empty stage and a grand piano, the performers construct a succession of scenes based on works by Verdi, Rossini, Mozart, Bizet, Wagner, Saint-Saëns and Offenbach, bringing opera to new audiences.
The cycle will close on Sunday, April 26, at the Centre Cultural de Jesús, with «Els colors de la música», a show starring the painter Antoni Marí ‘Tirurit’, Pere Prieto on saxophone and Juan F. Ballesteros on piano. The proposal combines live painting and music in a didactic and visual format, in which a painter must illustrate a story in less than an hour inspired by music.
During the performance, colors and emotions build the story, based on the story «The Selfish Giant» by Oscar Wilde, while the audience attends a sonorous journey through styles such as baroque, jazz and pop. Live painting thus becomes a central element of the show, accompanying the narration in front of the audience.

]]>La entrada ¡Vive la zarzuela!’ arrives this Sunday at Can Ventosa se publicó primero en La Voz De Ibiza.
]]>The proposal comes from the hand of the Ibizan company Art3 and is organized by the Ajuntament d’Eivissa.
The concert will begin at 19.00 hours and tickets are already on sale for 12 euros through the website culturaentradesonline.eivissa.es.
Those who purchased tickets for the October 12 performance will be able to use them for this new date, keeping the seats they selected.
The show was initially scheduled for October 12, but had to be postponed due to adverse weather conditions, which caused the cancellation of several artists’ flights from Mallorca. This situation also prevented access to the theater during the morning, a key moment for the transfer of material and technical assembly.
Overcoming these setbacks, ‘¡Vive la zarzuela!’ returns with more strength and with the same enthusiasm to offer the Ibizan public an unforgettable musical evening.
The concert proposes a journey through some of the most emblematic and beloved pages of the zarzuela repertoire. The program includes excerpts from such well-known titles as La Gran Vía, Doña Francisquita, Marina, Luisa Fernanda, La verbena de la Paloma and La revoltosa.
Live music, song, dance and storytelling are combined to create a festive, close and accessible experience, designed for all audiences, both residents and visitors who wish to approach one of the most representative genres of the Spanish musical tradition.
The Art3 company is formed by three Ibizan artists with a solid joint trajectory: Lucía Herranz (soprano), Rocío Osuna (dancer) and Elvira Ramon (pianist). With more than 15 years of experience in the creation of multidisciplinary shows, they have signed productions such as Les fades dels somnis, La Pepa, Homenaje a Lorca, Sota la lluna, Siglo XX que te vas and several concerts commemorating the Day of Tolerance.
On this occasion, the show also has an outstanding guest cast from Palma de Mallorca, composed of Yolanda Riera (mezzo-soprano), Roger Berenguer (tenor) and Jorge Tello (baritone). They are joined by a group of dancers from Madrid: Juan Carlos Sánchez, José M. Carriazo, Diego Díaz, Feli Ruiz and Cristina Núñez.
The cast is completed by the actor and narrator Miguel Vingut, in charge of guiding the audience throughout the show with humor and complicity, bringing cohesion and closeness to the proposal.
With pieces as popular as the Mazurca de las sombrillas, the Fandango de Doña Francisquita or the unforgettable «¿Dónde vas con mantón de Manila?», ‘¡Vive la zarzuela!’ invites you to rediscover a genre that continues to thrill generations .

]]>This new Salon is a continuation of the «Thinking Culture» cycle promoted by TEDxIbiza, a series of meetings that seek to analyze different cultural expressions from a local and global perspective. The session dedicated to music is an open conversation about how sound builds collective memory and community, in a reduced format that encourages dialogue with the public.
The meeting will be hosted by journalist and cultural presenter Jo Youle, founder of Beat Wala and regular host of TEDx events on the island. Speakers will include Igor Marijuan, music director of Akasha; Manu Gonzalez, DJ and producer; and Shar, marketing director of Chinois, who will address the evolution and impact of music culture in Ibiza from different professional perspectives.
TEDxIbiza already held its first Salon on December 5, which took place at La Granja Farmhouse Ibiza and was dedicated to the culture of water, with a focus on its role in the ecology of the island, its legacy and future challenges. The organization thanked then the reception of the format and advanced that there would be new meetings, as reported in their social networks.
The new Salon on the culture of music will be held at Soho Farmhouse Ibiza, an enclave located in the rural setting of Santa Gertrudis, chosen to host a format of intimate and participatory conversation, in line with the philosophy of small-format TEDx meetings. The event is scheduled between 17.00 and 19.30 hours.
The organization also reminds that the main event of TEDxIbiza will take place on March 14, at the Palacio de Congresos de Ibiza, a larger format event that will bring together national and international speakers and whose tickets are already available through the official website of the event.

]]>Tickets for the concert went on sale on Wednesday at 10.00 am through the website of the Consell d’Eivissa and eivissacultural.es, and were sold out in just over an hour, confirming the enormous expectation generated by the return of Ara Malikian to the island.
This recital will be very different from the one Malikian gave in Ibiza last summer. That performance took place in a reduced format, with the violinist accompanied only by a pianist, in the surroundings of the Old Commandery and the Walls.
On this occasion, the show is designed for 1,000 people, with a larger stage, new content and the full band of musicians that accompanies the artist on the Intruso tour, thus offering a more ambitious proposal both musically and scenically.
With Intruso, Ara Malikian transcends the limits of classical music, fusing his virtuosity with sounds of popular music and different traditions of the world. The result is an avant-garde and personal proposal, which breaks with the conventions of the genre and connects with very diverse audiences.
Beyond the musical aspect, Intruso is an artistic statement that addresses universal themes such as identity, belonging and the search for a sense of community. Through collaborations with artists from different cultures, Malikian invites us to reflect on our place in the world and to build bridges between societies, in a call for unity and mutual understanding in an «increasingly divided» world.

]]>The exhibition was inaugurated by Andrea Rivi himself, who wanted to share this significant moment thanking in a special way the support of the City Council of Sant Antoni de Portmany, as well as all the institutions and people who have accompanied his professional evolution throughout these two decades.
During his speech, the photographer reviewed the origin of his vocation through a personal anecdote: an image captured more than twenty years ago on the Havana seafront, a photograph that made him understand that the camera is not only used to freeze moments, but also to convey emotions, contrasts and stories.
Rivi stressed that photography is the result of a combination of intuition, opportunity and preparation, an idea he linked to Seneca’ s well-known reflection on luck and timing. Thus, what began almost by chance was transformed over time into a solid professional path of no return.

The exhibition «Ibiza Esencial» brings together a selection of 20 photographs belonging to different projects developed on the island. Through them, the author proposes a look that puts in value the cultural, patrimonial and natural Ibiza, highlighting especially Eivissa as a destination for family tourism, an area in which Andrea Rivi has worked and in which he has always believed.
«For me it is an honor to be able to communicate the essence of this island and its human and cultural value,» said the photographer, reaffirming his commitment to a vision of Ibiza that is authentic and close, designed for both residents and visitors.
After the inauguration, the evening continued with a performance by the Colla de Ball Pagès de Sant Jordi, which provided the most traditional and emotional component of the event, connecting contemporary photography with the cultural roots of the island.

The musical part was performed by violinist Núria García, whose interpretation enveloped the exhibition in an elegant and sensory atmosphere, putting the finishing touch to a night that celebrated two decades of photography and a deep connection with Ibiza.

]]>The exhibition brings together about 40 works created mostly during the autumn, a period whose light and tonalities have inspired the whole of the exhibition and which give the project its name.
In the main hall visitors will be able to contemplate a series of pieces dedicated to the farmhouses of different villages of the municipality, as well as the church of Sant Joan, the protagonist of the official poster of the exhibition. Although the buildings represented are recognizable, they are pictorial interpretations worked with mixed media on canvas, in which color and material evoke the traditional construction elements of the island.
The second room introduces works of natural themes, including marine, posidonia scenes, olive trees, junipers, pines and fig trees, as well as representations of bell towers in the municipality. These pieces are made not only on canvas, but also on recovered wood and juniper tagell, incorporating materials from the local environment.
‘Tardor’ can be visited until January 11, from Monday to Saturday, from 10 am to 1 pm, and on Sundays, from 10 am to 2 pm.
The weekend program in Sant Joan de Labritja also includes several cultural and festive proposals:
