Consell and town councils of Ibiza sign the agreements of the Water Pact worth 3 million euros

This money will be used to carry out works to improve water efficiency, such as leak detection and repair or the construction of new wells, among other projects.

The Consell de Ibiza and the five municipalities of the island have signed the agreements of the Water Pact worth three million euros. As reported by the island institution, this money will be used to carry out works to improve water efficiency such as the detection and repair of leaks or the implementation of new wells, among other projects. Specifically, the City Council of Ibiza will receive 632,894.94 euros; 791,868.68 euros that of Santa Eulària des Riu; 670,537.76 euros will receive the Consistory of Sant Josep de sa Talaia; 585,449.79 euros that of Sant Antoni de Portmany and 319,248.83 euros will be invested in Sant Joan. The works can be executed until March 2028, with funding from the Sustainable Tourism Tax.
