The forecast of rain for this Saturday, November 8, and the activation of the yellow warning in Ibiza have forced to reorganize much of the cultural, gastronomic and sports calendar. Although the weekend was loaded with proposals, several have been canceled or postponed for safety, while others are maintained as normal.
Among the activities affected is the Cursa Es Baluards, which the Club Atletisme Pitiús and the City Council of Ibiza have decided to suspend due to the risk of slips in some sections of the route. For now it has not been determined if a new date will be sought or if this year’s edition will be definitively canceled.
Nor will be held this Saturday the Festa del Tardor, which was to open its doors at the Ethnographic Museum of Can Ros, in Puig de Missa in Santa Eulària. The Consell de Ibiza has confirmed that the event is postponed and that a new date will be announced later.
The festival of Tots Sants in Sant Josep, which was scheduled for Sunday, is not canceled but rescheduled for this same Sunday, November 9, with the same program: musical vermouth, popular food of frita de porcella and evening entertainment by DJ D-Ramones. From the City Council have explained that the event is moved to avoid coinciding with the worst stretch of rain forecast for Saturday.
On the other hand, the City Council of Santa Eulària has suspended the visit to Ca n’Andreu des Trull and the ballada with the colla de ball pagès de Sant Carles, which were to be held this Saturday at noon.

Caution in case of yellow alert
The yellow warning for rain and storms will be active throughout the day on Saturday, from midnight until 23.59 hours. Locally heavy rainfall is expected, especially in the central hours of the day. From the emergency service 112 Illes Balears recommends extreme caution, avoid unnecessary travel and do not cross flooded areas.
In the coming days, the municipalities and the Consell will announce the new dates of the postponed events. In the meantime, those who decide to participate in the activities that are maintained should prepare for a weekend spent by water.
