The Classical Theatre Company of Seville will be this weekend in Formentera to offer a performance of the play La violación de Lucrecia. The play has text and direction by Alfonso Zurro and interpretation by Lorena Ávila. Based on the poem by William Shakespeare, it brings to the stage the Lucretia of the original Rome and also a modern Lucretia, a young woman of today who goes out partying one night. Both stories overlap in the play. The performance will be on Saturday 23 at 7 p.m. at the Sala Municipal de Cultura (Cinema). Admission is free but seating is limited.
