From Pitius Team Motoclub Ibiza, a group of motorcycling enthusiasts on the island, have called a silent motorcycle ride to say goodbye to Raúl Tribaldos, the biker who lost his life in the accident in the center of Ibiza, as reported by La Voz de Ibiza. The initiative aims to pay tribute to the deceased with respect and dignity, as explained in their social networks.
The accompaniment will take place this Saturday, when participants will meet at 14.45 hours in Pompas Fúnebres, with departure scheduled at 15.00 hours, to travel the last journey of the motorist. The procession will take place in complete silence, without acceleration or noise, as a sign of mourning and support for the family.
From the motorcycle club have stressed that the act will be developed maintaining an attitude of recollection and respect, avoiding any behavior that may be inappropriate. “We accompany his family, friends and loved ones in their grief,” they say, adding that Raul “will always be part of this biker family.”
An accident with no other vehicles involved
The death of the motorcyclist occurred after a traffic accident in the center of Ibiza, more precisely on Sant Joan Avenue, this Tuesday around 6 p.m. According to the first indications of the police investigation, there were no other vehicles involved and the fatal victim lost his life after falling from his motorcycle. His companion, a young man of 20 years old, ended up with serious injuries and was admitted to the Can Misses Hospital until after midnight.
The motorcycle club concludes its message with a farewell full of symbolism for the motorcycling world: “Bon voyage, comrade. May the road be kind to you”, a common phrase in the biker world to honor those who lose their lives on two wheels.
