Balearic airports will operate this Wednesday and Thursday, coinciding with Christmas Eve and Christmas, a total of 589 flights, which represents an increase of 3.5% over the same days last year, according to data from AENA.
Ibiza airport will have a prominent role in this special Christmas operation, with 108 flights scheduled for both days. Of these, 90 will be domestic connections and 18 international, confirming the island’s air activity even in the middle of the low season.
Palma airport will have the highest volume of operations, with a total of 415 flights -279 domestic and 136 international-, while Menorca airport will have 66 operations, 64 domestic and two international.
By days, on Christmas Eve, December 24, 310 air operations are planned throughout the archipelago, while Christmas Day, December 25, will reach 279.
