Hï Ibiza is crowned for the fifth consecutive year as the Best Club in the World in the prestigious list The World’s 100 Best Clubs 2024The rating by the International Nightlife Association, International Nightlife Association (INA) and in which the public also votes. Thus, the island’s nightclubs make an incalculable contribution to position Spain as a leader among 420 venues in 65 countries. The complete list and the winners of the Golden Moon Awards were revealed this Wednesday, November 20, through INA’s social networks, between 12 and 8 pm.
The Night League‘s club, headed by the genius of Yann Pissenem , was also recognized this year as the Number 1 club in the world in the survey of the specialized publication DJ Magwhich it received for the third year in a row in this case. Thus, Hï remains as the best club in the world in 2024 and, consequently, wins the Golden Moon Award for the best club of the year.
Ibiza and Spain, nightlife leaders once again in 2024
After Hï Ibiza, the second best club in the world this year is Green Valley Camboriu (Brazil), and in third place is Ushuaïa Ibiza. As if that wasn’t enough to make clear the unique power of the Ibizan leisure industry, there are more Pitiusas nightclubs among the top 10 in the world: DC10 is ranked number 8.
So far, the 2023 positions are repeated for the three Ibizan brands. Among the changes, Pacha Ibiza, another iconic venue on the island, was this time in eleventh place, after last year having made it into the top 10. These are the names at the forefront of the fact that Spain will have 26 top 100 positions in 2024. Among the outstanding clubs in our country that are not from Ibiza are, for example, Sutton Barcelona (14th place), BCM from Mallorca (19th place), and Disco Tropics, from Lloret de Mar (24th place).
Ibiza’s clubs, among the best in the world
Other names from the White Isle stand out. Amnesia entered the top 20 by taking 17th place in the list of The World’s 100 Best Clubs 2024, and also maintained its 2023 position. Among the top 100 and among the first ones to be announced on November 20, O Beach Ibiza is in 64th place, Lío in 74th, Nassau Beach Club in 85th, and Playa Soleil in 93rd. Thus, Ibiza is the only destination to achieve an unequalled list, followed by Las Vegas and Barcelona. In fact, the island started with 16 nominated clubs. In addition, Circoloco in DC10 won the Golden Moon Award for Best Party 2024. Meanwhile, the Golden Moon Award for Best DJ went to Black Coffee, a reference at Hï Ibiza. It should be noted that last year, this award went to David Guetta, with weekly residencies at Hï and Ushuahïa.
A Golden Moon Awards 2024 without an on-site event: Leisure in solidarity after the DANA
As already announced, the Golden Moon Awards Gala, with the awards ceremony and the announcement of The World’s 100 Best Clubs 2024, was to be held in Valencia, as well as the National and International Nightlife Congresses. Due to the tragedy caused by the DANA, the state nightlife association, Spain Nightlife, and the International Nightlife Association, agreed to cancel these events and to announce through networks the list of The World’s 100 Best Clubs and the name of the winners of the Golden Moon Awards. At the same time, Spain Nightlife launched a solidarity campaign, which is still active, so that figures related to the area and all those who wish to do so can contribute funds.
