The leisure and luxury connection that unites Ibiza and Dubai is consolidated this week with the opening of the O Beach and Ushuaïa headquarters in the Arab Emirates. This strengthens a relationship already cemented with exported Ibizan successes, such as the exclusive restaurant Tatel, from which Abel Matutes Prats has recently disassociated himself.
The beach club of Sant Antoni counts the hours for its imminent inauguration: the opening weekend starts this Thursday 24 and the party will last until Sunday 27.
Meanwhile, Yann Pissenem ‘s nightlife empire through The Night League will make history in Dubai this Saturday the 26th.
Ushuaïa replicates its open-air experience in Dubai
The Night League, the creative powerhouse behind Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza, and hotel group Studio A by Addmind Hospitality(White Club, Iris and Babylon), teamed up to create The Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience, located in Dubai Marina.
The season there will run through May 2025, and it will be none other than Calvin Harris who will inaugurate it.
He will be accompanied by Australian Tyson O’Brien. Meanwhile, the duo Adriatique is confirmed for November 16 and Black Coffee for December 28.
Pre-sale tickets for the opening were launched last August but are still available. Tickets start at $184 (195 dirham).

O Beach in Dubai: the most iconic beach club
O Beach Dubai will be located in the same area, in The Marina, across the beach from the Habtoor Grand hotel.

This sibling to the Sant Antoni club will feature a 5,000-square-meter interior and a 400-square-meter pool, along with an elevated restaurant with 360-degree views of the city and beach, which will have a menu inspired by cuisines from each continent. It will also have beach beds and a beach bar for enjoying Arabian Gulf sunsets.

Reservations for this weekend opening can be made since the first days of last September. VIP beds and tables are already sold out. The last tickets are available for $150 for women and $180 for men.

Ibiza and Dubai: a growing alliance
Lovers of luxury nightlife could already enjoy the home of another iconic Ibiza name in the United Arab Emirates: Pacha Beach.
Pacha Beach opened in April this year, as a private area within the Five Luxe JBR hotel. All owned by the “new” (already for a year) owner of the brand of cherries, the Indian businessman based in Dubai Kabir Mulchandani.

The frustrated mess
The group has ruled out for the time being the opening of the announced headquarters of the Lío cabaret restaurant in the city, an iconic Ibiza venue that was left out of the million-dollar purchase it made from Trilantic.

Five Holdings is not the only Dubai company with interests in Ibiza. Thus, the Sunset Hospitality Group operates the Greek restaurant Ammos in a place located between the Usuhaïa Tower and the Hard Rock Hotel, in Playa d’en Bossa. At the same time, it remains attentive to any opportunity that presents itself on the island of Ibiza, where it has set its sights with the aim of expanding its leisure and luxury empire.
