A spectacular accident took place this noon, around 14:00 hours, on the road to Ses Salines, when a Volkswagen Golf suffered an erratic off-track that culminated in a head-on collision with a wall. The impact left the vehicle crossed in the middle of the two lanes, forcing the Guardia Civil to intervene to regulate traffic.
No injuries, but complications
Despite the force of the collision, no personal injuries were reported, as confirmed by authorities at the scene. However, the incident generated a momentary interruption in the vehicular flow of this road, one of the busiest on the island, especially at this time of the year. The removal of the vehicle, which had been immobilized in a dangerous position, was carried out by a team of Grúas Ibiza, allowing to restore normality to the road shortly after.

The authorities have recalled the importance of extreme caution when driving, especially in high traffic areas such as the Ses Salines road, where accidents of this type can cause serious mishaps. For the moment, the exact causes of the accident have not been reported, although adverse weather factors have been ruled out, since the day was passing under favorable weather conditions.
