The main hypothesis being investigated by the family of María Florencia Bollini points out that the psychedelic therapist could have been the victim of a spiritual ritual, during a private party in a luxury villa in the municipality of Sant Antoni de Portmany, in the early morning of October 14, 2024.
This follows from the evidence and indications gathered by Federico Bollini, brother of the psychedelic healing referent who experimented with 5-MeO-DMT, known as the “God molecule”, a powerful entheogen present in the toad Bufo Alvarius.
The body was found naked on a table on the terrace, surrounded by candles, leaves, gourds with green liquid and other elements that reinforce the theory of a staging.
“It looks like an offering or something very strange,” declared his brother, Federico Bollini, who has been gathering evidence on his own for months. In the family’s view, the spiritual and symbolic context in which the body was found points to a possible intentional manipulation of the scene, which could conceal a homicide.
Indications of a ritual set-up
Bollini’s body was placed on a wooden table next to the pool, barely covered by a blanket. The scene included gourds with an unidentified liquid, lit candles, scattered leaves and a leaf placed on the victim’s stomach.
According to Federico Bollini, these elements could have been part of an offering or ritualistic ceremony, a common practice in certain spiritual currents linked to the use of entheogens.
In addition, outside the sauna where the body was initially found, an inscribed message alluding to a “spiritual mission on Earth” was found, raising doubts about the background of the party held that night, which involved a Swedish millionaire resident on the island and at least five other people.
A publication describing a ceremony of “transition”.
The suspicion of a ritual was reinforced by a post on social media by a Brazilian woman present at the event. The post – deleted days later – described the moment of Bollini’s death as a “sacred transition”.
In addition, it alluded to a “bond forged in death”, with phrases such as: “I will honor you forever for this experience”. This text was recovered and analyzed by the family.
“If we analyze that post plus what was found at the scene, it looks like an offering. Or something that went very wrong. Or maybe right, depending on how you look at it,” remarked Federico Bollini.
Smart ring and toxicology report contradict the witnesses
Witnesses claimed that Bollini was taken out of the sauna alive and that they called the emergency services at that moment. However, the Oura Ring worn by the woman indicates that the pulses stopped at 23:25 on the 13th, more than two hours before the call to 112.
In addition, the device only recorded seven steps after his death, which would coincide with the transfer of his body from the sauna to the terrace.
Although witnesses referred to the buffo and alleged cardiac episodes, the toxicology report did not confirm this hypothesis. On the contrary: the significant presence of drugs or alcohol was ruled out.
The study indicated that there were no lethal levels of substances in Bollini’s system. The analysis revealed only trace amounts of alcohol and non-lethal amounts of MDMA, ketamine, norketamine, amphetamine and methamphetamine.
The report concluded that the death was accidental. However, the family disagrees. His lawyer argues that “there are more than obvious indications” that a homicide, whether intentional or reckless, could have occurred.
“Everyone emphasizes drugs, but really the level Flor had was minimal,” remarks Federico Bollini.
In this context, the brother remarked that there is “enough evidence” to advance in the investigation. Not only because of the contradictions in the statements, but also because of the disappearance of the victim’s personal belongings, including two cell phones, a tablet, a computer and jewelry.
The family – represented by criminal lawyer Vicente Monzó – requested that seven people be summoned for investigation, including the Swedish millionaire and a married couple who are friends. It has also been requested to clarify whether illicit substances were provided during the party, which could lead to charges for crimes against public health.
“The evidence is all there, the Justice Department has yet to move the file,” insists Federico.
A recognized figure in the psychedelic world
Maria Florencia Bollini, 44, an Italian-Argentinean therapist specializing in psychedelic healing, was known as “the shaman of businessmen” for her work with substances such as 5-MeO-DMT, the so-called “toad entheogen”.
His death has generated impact in spiritual and scientific circles linked to the therapeutic use of psychedelic substances.
