The smart ring worn by Florencia Bollini, “the shaman of Ibiza’s businessmen”, on the night she died in October 2024 during a party at a luxury villa in Sant Antoni has become key evidence in the reopening of a case that was initially shelved.
This high-precision biometric device, designed to monitor health and well-being, has provided data that contradicts the witness account and reopens the judicial debate as to whether the Argentine-born woman was the victim of gross negligence or even possible homicide.
Bollini, a 44-year-old therapist specialized in ceremonies with psychedelics, died between October 13 and 14, 2024 in a luxury villa in Sant Antoni de Portmany, during a private party organized by a Swedish millionaire, according to Las Provincias newspaper.
According to the victim’s family’s lawyer, based on new information, the scene was altered before the arrival of the emergency services, who found the naked body with severe burns on a table on the terrace, illuminated by candles.
The ring records the exact time of death
The Oura Ring, which Bollini wore on his left hand, is a Finnish smart device that monitors more than 20 biometric parameters such as heart rate, sleep and rest levels.
Commonly used by athletes and wellness professionals, in this case it has become critical forensic evidence.

According to the ring records, Bollini’s heart rate dropped sharply at 23:25 on October 13. He went into full inactivity mode past midnight, placing his time of death more than two hours before the 112 call was made.

This time inconsistency directly contradicts the version of the five witnesses, who assured that the woman was still alive when she was taken out of the sauna.
In addition, the device detected only seven steps after death, which is consistent with the movement of the body from the sauna to the outdoor table, where it was found. This movement would have been made by the witnesses, who also covered her with a blanket. During that time, the witnesses had the necessary time to assemble a joint version of events.
Technology dismantles a coordinated version
Bollini’s family, represented by attorney Vicente Monzó, maintains that the scene was deliberately manipulated and that the witnesses, including the Swedish host, agreed on a common version.
The lawyer qualifies the facts as a possible reckless homicide and has managed to get the Court of Instruction number 2 of Ibiza to reopen the case, which had been archived just a month after the event without the definitive autopsy reports or toxicological analysis.
Witnesses claimed that Bollini was monitored every 20 minutes because she allegedly had heart problems. However, the victim had high intensity burns, indicating that she remained unattended inside the sauna for more than an hour.
According to the accusation, he should not have been allowed to enter given his physical condition and the context of substance use.

A party of excesses
The party had been advertised in a private WhatsApp group as a “wild pajama party”, with explicit references to drug use.
The toxicology report detected in the victim’s body MDMA, ketamine, norketamine, amphetamine and methamphetamine, all components of tusi, although in non-lethal levels. No traces of bufotenin, a substance from the bufo toad, or utensils for its consumption were found, which rules out the possibility that he performed a psychedelic ritual before his death, as claimed by witnesses.

According to the Oura Ring data, Bollini had gone more than 24 hours without sleep, with a rest index of 1 out of 100, the lowest recorded by the device.
In addition to the death, the family reports the disappearance of jewelry and electronic devices, such as two cell phones, a tablet and a computer. For this reason, they have also requested the investigation of a married couple who hosted Bollini on the island.
A wearable becomes a key witness
Originally designed to enhance wellness, the Oura Ring is marketed as a luxury accessory – priced between $250 and $500, plus a monthly subscription.

As promoted on its website, “it is the first wearable (smart electronic devices that can be worn on the body) designed to help you know your health status in a truly holistic way. Created in Finland and loved around the world, its success lies in a premium design and a philosophy focused on people’s well-being.”
The smart ring records more than 20 biometric data throughout the day and night. “Oura helps you know when and how to rest during the day, detects your moments of stress and helps you manage them in the best possible way,” he explains. It also analyzes sleep data “to determine your optimal sleep schedule and detect areas for improvement”.

In this case, it has transcended its usual use to become a key tool in a judicial investigation, providing objective data that disproves the narrative of those involved.
The court has ordered the Civil Guard to submit an additional report, while the Provincial Court of Palma must decide whether to summon seven people to testify as investigated. Among the crimes to be considered are reckless homicide, concealment, theft and facilitating drug use.
